Just a little skin

Sugestion is a form of art, a much more powerful strategy than just showing skin.

The superior abs comeback as an unexpected feature on the runways it’s an example, and it’s also interesting to see how this elements travel from the front row to the runway.

While I was watching Hervé Leger by Max Azria fall 2014, something more than the blue hair highlights or the clothes called my attention.

Models were wearing very high boots and mini skirts, you could only see a little gap of the thighs while they were walking.

Sugestion becomes alive while women are in movement.

The many faces of fashion: beauty editorials

I like when beauty editorials dare to push the boundaries of a beauty shot.

I like to see things from this “macro” point of view.

Inspiration: misterio

When you feel attracted to something you don’t see but, you know is there. That is what I call mystery.

What about masks?

They hide our face, which is our identity, but still shows in many cases our eyes. And, what a face would look like without eyes?

I guess soulless is the answer.

Maybe masks aren’t there to hide us, but to focus the attention in our eyes because at the end of the day, eyes are the most important thing about how we communicate with others.

Inspiration: seeing things differently

When sources of inspiration seem to be over, we can always look at things differently.

It’s the same with all the things in life, maybe beauty can also be found in things we dont think are beautiful at first sight. That is why I love these pictures:

Inspiration: drama

Why are smokey eyes so captivating? They express drama, and drama is always an inspiring thing.

Great artwork comes from pain and darkness. A world that is full of shadows, is also beautiful.

Definition of dramatic:

1.

a. A prose or verse composition, especially one telling a serious story, that is intended for representation by actors impersonating the characters and performing the dialogue and action.
b. A serious narrative work or program for television, radio, or the cinema.
2. Theatrical plays of a particular kind or period: Elizabethan drama.
3. The art or practice of writing or producing dramatic works.
4. A situation or succession of events in real life having the dramatic progression or emotional effect characteristic of a play: the drama of the prisoner’s escape and recapture.
5. The quality or condition of being dramatic: a summit meeting full of drama.

Inspiration:Ursula

Bad ass witch and fashion icon, Ursula, the villain in The Little Mermaid movie.

We absolutely adore her, from her statement short grey hair to her bold red lips, and of course that underwater elegance on being an octopus.

Octupuses are elegant, see it for yourself, my favorite image is the red one from the right, i’ts sugestive, I like the way the light is reflected in the animal skin.

Inspiration: vintage showgirls

Showgirls costumes are extremely attractive to look at, I love the way sequins shine through the movement of feathers.

How the female body is decorated, to represent nudity without being too obvious and above all, the attitude the girls have.
